Always Test the Pump with the Actual Formula

Airless pump performance cannot be evaluated only by the stated 40ml capacity. Formula viscosity, thixotropy, suspended particles, oils, alcohol, surfactants and volatile ingredients may affect priming, dosage consistency and pump recovery.

Before mass production, we recommend a compatibility test using the actual formula under room-temperature, high-temperature and repeated-dispensing conditions. The test should also confirm leakage resistance, actuator recovery, residual product level and the stability of all formula-contact components.

For oxidation-sensitive formulas, the correct tube barrier structure must be selected separately. An airless-style pump improves dispensing hygiene, but it should not automatically be treated as a replacement for EVOH, PBL or other barrier packaging.
